Before launching Up Closets of MetroWest & Greater Boston, Radhika spent years focused on user experience, problem-solving, and simplifying complex systems. Her job was to understand how people interacted with technology and make those interactions more intuitive. Today, she brings that same mindset into every home she designs.

“My background is in the tech industry, where I spent years thinking about user experience, problem-solving, and how to make complex things feel simple and intuitive.”

While technology shaped her professional career, creativity has always been part of who she is. She studied graphic design in college, has a lifelong appreciation for architecture, and loves hands-on DIY projects that transform spaces into something both beautiful and functional.

Motherhood added another layer to her perspective. Managing a busy household gave her firsthand experience with how quickly clutter can become overwhelming when a home isn’t designed around everyday routines.
“Closets are often overlooked—but they’re some of the most used and most impactful spaces in a home.”

Rather than walking into a home with a standard template or sales pitch, Radhika starts by asking questions. How do you start your mornings? What isn’t working? Where do you lose time? What would make everyday life feel easier?

Those conversations become the foundation for each custom design. Whether it’s a walk-in closet, reach-in closet, pantry, mudroom, or garage, every solution is built around the people who use it—not just the space itself.

One of the things clients appreciate most is her collaborative approach. She encourages homeowners to explore their options, ask questions, and make decisions at their own pace.

“I’m not coming in with a one-size-fits-all template or a high-pressure sales mindset. Instead, I focus on understanding how a space needs to function for each client.”

For Radhika, success isn’t measured simply by installing beautiful cabinetry. It’s measured by creating spaces that reduce daily stress, simplify routines, and make homes work better for the families living in them.

Her philosophy is refreshingly simple:

Intentional design for real life.

Because the best storage solutions aren’t just organized—they’re designed around the way you actually live.
