After over a decade of moving around with the Army, Katie and Kevin settled in Richmond Hill, Georgia with their two sons Greyson and Oliver. Having always wanted to start a business together, Katie and Kevin jumped at the opportunity to bring Up Closets to the Coastal Georgia Low Country. When Katie is not crawling on the ground installing hard to reach toe kicks, she works part time as an occupational therapy assistant and enjoys pottery. Her attention to detail and empathy make her a valuable asset to customers who have an idea of what they like, but aren’t sure sure how to make their vision a reality. Kevin, while outshined by Katie, contributes to the customer experience by establishing a relationship built on trust and open communication. He prefers to face challenges head on and insists the job is only done when, and only when, the customer loves the product. Katie and Kevin view the work they do with Up Closets as an extension of their service, because removing the chaos from our homes, prepares us to face whatever challenges life throws at us.
